Questions about DuoScribble? Get back to drawing and guessing with our quick tips.

Get started

  1. Open DuoScribble and choose One Device or Two iPhones.
  2. Pick a category, your round timer, and the winning score.
  3. When both players are ready, the round begins. Draw on one side and guess on the other.
How do I connect two iPhones?

Put both iPhones on the same Wi-Fi network and allow Local Network access if iOS requests it. On one iPhone choose Two iPhones → Create Game. On the other choose Two iPhones → Join Game, pick the nearby game, and enter the host’s 6-digit code.

What if the phones can’t find each other?

Check Wi-Fi, Local Network permission in iPhone Settings, and that both phones are running the same version of DuoScribble. Keep both apps open and try creating the game again. Some restricted public or guest Wi-Fi networks prevent devices from discovering each other.

How does One Device mode work?

Two people share the game screen, taking turns drawing and guessing. If Player 2’s side faces the wrong way, use the Flip Player 2 Screen control.

What happens when time runs out?

Players see the secret word at the end of the round. Then the game switches turns and waits until both players are ready.

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No account is required. For Nearby Play, both devices need a working local network connection; the app uses local discovery to connect them.

How do I report a bug during the beta?

Open DuoScribble through Apple’s TestFlight app and use Send Beta Feedback to share a report, screenshot, or issue description.
